How do I enter recipient info when ordering eGifts?
We provide 3 options to add recipient info to your eGift order:
1) Enter manually using our recipient info form
2) Use our .csv template and upload your file
3) Copy/paste columns from your own spreadsheet or tabular document into our copy/paste form.
Regardless of the method you choose, we recommend having your information prepared in advance.
I don’t know the email addresses for all of my recipients, is that OK?
Sure! As long as you have your recipients first names, you can choose Gift Link as your sending method. We'll generate a unique link for each eGift recipient, and you can send by text message, social platform or through your own email account.
I don’t know the names of all my recipients, is that OK?
We require First Names for all eGift recipients. Last Names are optional.
What is a Gift Link?
Gift Links are unique URLs our system generates for each eGift recipient. Choose this sending method if you prefer to send eGift invitations by text message, social platform or through your own email account -- or if you don't want your eGift emails to be sent instantly after you check out.
Alternatively, you can choose to use our email system to send your invitations immediately after placing your order (and we'll automatically send 2 reminders on your behalf).
Can I include a greeting message or add our logo to the eGift invitation?
Yes, you may add your custom greeting message and logo! We can dynamically insert your recipients’ names in the message.
What does an eGift invitation look like?
eGift invitations are personalized to your recipients' names, include an image of gift(s), your custom greeting message and your optional company logo. You can always preview exactly how your eGift will appear to recipients, with your custom greeting message and logo, before placing your order.
Can I send my recipients eGift reminders?
Our email system will send 2 automated reminders after the initial send. You may at any time manually resend from your eGift order record in your account.
You may also update email addresses at any time while the eGift order is still open, so long as the recipient has not yet completed their eGift redemption.
Alternatively, you can use the Gift Link feature to send the eGift invitation by text message or messenger app.
How do I track eGift redemptions and track shipments?
Your eGift order is updated in real time in your account. You can view redemption and tracking status and see thank you replies for each recipient. Recipients will also receive tracking information, and our customer service team handles any delivery issue directly with your recipients.
Will I see which gifts were chosen?
Yes! You will see each recipient’s chosen gift, landed costs (gift cost, tax and shipping) and thank you notes within your account in real time.
Will I receive thank yous or replies from my recipients?
Yes! We encourage each recipient to reply with a note upon gift redemption. You can see thank yous within your account under the eGift order details.
Do eGift invitations expire?
eGifts automatically close after 90 days from sending date. You may manually close your eGift at any time. Recipients will no longer be able to redeem eGifts after an eGift order is closed.
How do I close an eGift order?
eGift orders may remain “open” and active for up to 90 days from the date of transaction, during which time recipients may redeem their gifts. After 90 days, your eGift offer will automatically expire, and recipients will no longer be able to claim their gifts.
Once your eGift order is closed, we’ll calculate the total costs for the gifts redeemed and their associated shipping and tax. If the eGift is closed within 90 days from purchase, you may choose to receive your refund balance back to your original payment method automatically, or take the balance as CG Credits for use on future orders.
After 90 days, we are no longer able to process refunds back to your credit card, but you may request your balance back by check, or keep it as CG Credits.
To manually close your eGift, simply go to the eGift Orders page, select your order and click Close eGift.
Can I choose which gifts are available in my Collection?
The ability to curate your own eGift Collections and campaigns is a feature of the CG Elite corporate gifting platform. If you’d like to create a custom curated Collection, contact us for details.
Can I send eGift Collections with our own company swag?
Yes! We can support on-demand shipping of your branded swag from our dedicated warehouse. Contact us for details.
Can I allow recipients to redeem more than one gift from a eGift?
Yes! We can enable recipients to redeem more than one gift from a single eGift invitation. Contact us for details.
