Herb Kohler, Kohler Co. Executive Chairman, believed the world deserved something better than a run-of-the-mill turtle. Chefs of The American Club® produced over 100 batches, and discovered a Terrapin that put the turtle to shame. In 2003 KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates was born.

Today, Mr. Kohler's vision for Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates is carried on by Head Chocolatier, Crystal Thomas, and her team. Under Crystal's leadership, Kohler Chocolates has expanded to creating unique bars, snacks and ganaches, as well as new terrapin flavors.
