Every year, TripShot sends out 300+ customer appreciation gifts during the holiday season. They also participate in multiple conferences and tradeshows. Both efforts required sourcing gifts from various vendors. The TripShot team would then have to break down all the gifts, repackage them, label the boxes, and handle all the recipient shipping themselves. The effort took about a week and many after-work hours, not to mention the time and cost of travel to the office for their distributed workforce.
When the pandemic hit, they couldn’t send customers gifts because they couldn’t get together.
